Michelle Keegan beats Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Kim Kardashian to be crowned star with the most desirable hairstyle (a day after being named world's sexiest woman)

Only yesterday Michelle Keegan was awarded the coveted title of World's Sexiest Woman by lad's magazine, FHM. But with another day comes another crown.
Actress Michelle, 27, has now been named as the star with the most desirable locks.
The survey found that just over a third (34 per cent) of women and a quarter (27 per cent) of men believe the soapstar has the most enviable hair.


The research also found that over half of people surveyed said they have regretted a hair style more than once, with the biggest hair style regret being getting their hair cut too short.
As well as regretting having too much chopped off, other disappointments include getting a perm, having a colour put in that went wrong and having a fringe cut in, found the survey by Viviscal hair supplements. 




Michelle, who hails from Stockport, Manchester, was born to an English father and Gibraltarian mother.
Long before her showbiz days, Michelle, who attended the Manchester School of Acting, had a job at Selfridges in the Trafford Centre and also as a check-in agent at Manchester Airport.
Her big break came in 2007 when she landed the role of Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, beating 900 young women to the coveted job. 
Keegan's character was killed off in 2014. But that wasn't the last we would be seeing of her.

LG says it chose the Snapdragon 808 for the G4 because of timing, not overheating issues


The LG G4 has just been officially unveiled to the masses, boasting a super clear 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS Quantum Display, 3GB of RAM, and… a Snapdragon 808 processor. That’s right, LG opted against using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor in its new handset, though the reasoning behind that decision might not be what you’re thinking.

The Snapdragon 810 processor has gotten off to a very rough start since its announcement a few months ago. Reports of smartphones overheating due to the chip have been running rampant throughout the internet, and Samsung even decided against using the chip in the new Galaxy S6 andS6 Edge handsets. So why did LG decide to use the 808 in the G4, rather than going with the (supposedly) bigger and better 810?
While McDonough says both chips are “very much cut from the same cloth”, the 810 boasts eight cores, and the 808 only has six. The 810 also has more ultra-HD video capabilities and has an Adreno 430 GPU, as opposed to the Adreno 418 GPU found in the 808.
According to CNET, McDonough says LG’s decision had a lot to do with cost, as well. The 810 would be available first, so it was a no-brainer that LG would include the SoC in the G Flex 2. The 808 took a little more time to make its way to market, which meant LG could choose between the two processors. Ultimately, the decision to go with the 808 in the G4 came down to manufacturing costs (the 808 is cheaper), and the fact that the G4 would be the first mobile device to launch with the chipset.
Qualcomm’s head of marketing, Tim McDonough, said in an interview that LG’s decision to go with the 808 was made long before the hype began surrounding the 810. McDonough explains.

Bayern suffer Lewandowski, Robben injury blows after Dortmund defeat

Bayern Munich's hopes of winning the Champions League have suffered a severe blow after the club confirmed that striker Robert Lewandowski has sustained a broken jaw and nose and winger Arjen Robben is ruled out for the rest of the season.
Lewandowski scored the opening goal in Tuesday's DFB Pokal semifinalagainst former club Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena, but was injured in a collision with goalkeeper Mitch Langerak with four minutes of extra time remaining.
The Poland international was not substituted, with Bayern having already made three changes, but he was a notable absentee from the ensuing penalty shootout which his side lost 2-0 after failing to convert any of their four spot kicks.
Lewandowski was sent to hospital for a CT scan after the match, and on Wednesday morning the club announced his injuries but stopped short of ruling him out for the rest of the campaign.
Robben, however, will not feature again this season. The Netherlands international had not played for a month before coming off the bench on Tuesday, but went to ground clutching his calf just minutes later.
The club confirmed on Wednesday that he would not play again this season after suffering a torn calf muscle.

Baltimore Enlists National Guard and a Curfew to Fight Riots and Looting


BALTIMORE — Maryland’s governor activated the National Guard on Monday and the city of Baltimore announced a curfew for all residents as a turbulent day that began with the funeral of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, the nation’s latest symbol of police brutality, ended with rioting by rock-throwing youths, arson, looting and at least 15 police officers injured.
The violence that shook the city broke out in the late afternoon in theMondawmin neighborhood of northwest Baltimore, where Mr. Gray’s funeral had taken place. Angry residents threw bottles, rocks and chunks of concrete at officers who lined up in riot gear with shields deployed. Cars were set on fire, store windows were shattered, a CVS drugstore was looted, and the cafe inside a century-old Italian deli was destroyed. Trouble also erupted at the city’s Lexington Market.




By nighttime, the chaos seemed to be competing with a push for calm. Looters pulled junk food from convenience stores within a few blocks of police in riot gear and cars that had been set ablaze. At the same time, young men in black T-shirts from a local antiviolence group urged their neighbors to go back inside. A large fire burned in east Baltimore, consuming a partly built development project of the Southern Baptist Church that was to include housing for the elderly.

Star of US show Everybody Loves Raymond 'takes own life'



Sawyer Sweeten, the child star of hit US show Everybody Loves Raymond, has taken his own life, his family has said.
A statement said the 19-year-old died on Thursday morning.
He is reported by US media to have shot himself on the front porch of the family home in Texas.
Sawyer played Geoffrey Barone in the hit show, which also featured his twin brother Sullivan as Michael Barone and older sister Madylin as Ally Barone.
"This morning a terrible family tragedy has occurred," the family said in a statement.
"We are devastated to report that our beloved brother, son, and friend, Sawyer Sweeten, took his own life. He was weeks away from his 20th birthday.
"At this sensitive time, our family requests privacy and we beg of you to reach out to the ones you love."
